About the Position
The VP Quality & Excellence at Arad Technologies is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of R&D, engineering, and global operations. As the head of the Quality and Organizational Excellence Division, you will lead the strategic vision for quality across the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept to global deployment.
Your mission is to ensure that Arad’s complex IoT solutions, integrating high-precision mechanical components, advanced electronic sensors, firmware, and cloud-based software, meet the highest standards of precision, reliability, and security. You will serve as the champion for a "Quality First" culture, mentoring multidisciplinary teams in identifying root causes for complex issues and driving the organizational excellence required to maintain Arad’s position as a global leader in water management technology.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Leadership: Establish and lead the business strategic quality plan in collaboration with the Executive Leadership Team to achieve high-performance benchmarks across all Arad Technologies products.
- Multidisciplinary Oversight: Responsible for the quality performance of integrated systems involving Ultrasonic measurement, RF communications (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and Meter Data Management (MDM) software.
- Lifecycle Reliability Management: Own product reliability through the entire lifecycle; establishing reliability targets during the design phase, validating them through HALT/HASS testing, and monitoring long-term performance in the field.
- Advanced Failure Analysis (FA): Lead internal laboratories and expert teams in performing deep-dive failure analysis. Identify physics-of-failure at the component level and systemic bugs at the software/firmware level to drive rapid corrective actions.
- Root Cause & Risk Mitigation: Lead structured problem-solving (8D, Root Cause Analysis) and proactive risk assessments (FMEA/DFMEA) for issues arising from production and global customer installations.
- DFX & Design Reviews: Actively participate in "Design for Excellence" (DfX) reviews—specifically DfR (Reliability) and DfM (Manufacturing)—to ensure multidisciplinary constraints are resolved early in the R&D cycle.
- Compliance & Certification: Maintain and optimize the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001 (Information Security), and metrological standards (MID).
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary interface for high-level customer quality requirements, working cross-functionally to resolve grievances and improve the end-user experience.
- Organizational Excellence: Define and monitor KPIs for R&D processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives to minimize customer complaints and reduce internal waste.
