Job Description:

The Quality Manager will be responsible for all quality-related aspects throughout each project’s lifecycle, from concept and development, through engineering and production, to integration and ongoing implementation at the customer’s site.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the projects’ representative for all quality-related aspects
  • Building quality plans that are tailored to each project, in line with the customers’ requirements and the type of project, and in coordination with the development, engineering, and production units that are involved in the projects
  • Assisting with implementing and executing improvement processes
  • Participating in the execution and supervision of quality-related activities for each project (approving specs, design reviews, reliability analysis, gates, documentations, etc.)
  • Defining KPIs for transitioning from stage to stage
  • Devising and conducting measures
  • Dealing with customer complaints and preventive and corrective measures
  • Overseeing all quality-related activities in the transition from development to production
  • Leading all quality-related activities in project trials
  • Periodically conducting and reporting quality measures

Requirements

  • BSc (in engineering or sciences)
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or other relevant degree (Quality and Reliability Engineering) – advantage
  • Familiarity with project management and process development, from concept to delivery
  • Proficient in quality and process control methodologies
  • Familiarity with quality engineering tools
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role in an industrial, production, or process organization
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and strong communications skills, including the ability to convey messages to senior position holders
  • Proven ability to lead processes and motivate teams at all levels of the organization
  • Initiator, ability to see the larger picture
