Job description:

As a Mechanical Design Student, you will be an integral part of the team, actively participating in lab activities, conducting experiments, supporting design engineers, and assisting with design modifications as part of the ongoing development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the mechanical lab's operations, including organization, maintenance, and equipment reliability.
  • Conducting and documenting experiments as part of product development.
  • Supporting design engineers by assisting with design tasks, modifications, and updating engineering documentation.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering student from a recognized institution, in the second or third year of studies.
  • Individuals with a natural curiosity and strong passion for mechanics and technology
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team, with initiative and creative thinking.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Availability for at least two full workdays per week at the company’s offices.

Advantageous Skills:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing/quality control, or hands-on work with mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge and experience with AI tools

Rotem joined Arad Technologies in 2019 as VP of R&D. Prior to Arad Technologies, Rotem held a number of R&D senior management positions in High Tech companies in Israel and in Canada.

Rotem holds a BSc degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and MBA from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at the Technion University, Haifa.
