About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Administrator to design, build, and operate scalable and secure cloud infrastructure, primarily in Azure, with exposure to AWS and GCP.
This role combines hands-on cloud administration, security ownership, and cost optimization (FinOps), with a strong emphasis on automation and Infrastructure as Code.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability, scalability, and overall infrastructure efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure (primarily Azure).
- Architect and manage cloud networking: VPCs/VNets, subnets, routing, load balancers, DNS.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices (IAM, network security, threat protection).
- Own FinOps processes: monitor usage, optimize costs, and improve resource efficiency.
- Implement and manage WAF solutions (e.g., Cloudflare).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Infrastructure as Code.
- Develop scripts and automation tools (Bash, PowerShell).
- Improve system reliability, monitoring, and operational workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Software Engineering teams to support deployments and improve developer experience.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and architecture standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Infrastructure roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure (AWS/GCP — advantage).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking: VNets/VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, load balancers, DNS.
- Solid experience with cloud security principles and best practices.
- Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, or similar).
- Experience with WAF solutions such as Cloudflare.
- Experience working in production environments with high reliability requirements.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with software teams.
- Experience with cloud governance tools (tagging, policies)
- Design and implementation of cloud architectures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in production environments and handle incident response.
Nice to Have (Strong Advantage)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments
- DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
- Experience with FinOps (cost monitoring, budgeting, optimization).
- Familiarity with Entra ID and its services.
- Knowledge of Platform Engineering.
- Experience working with AI tools.
