 Job description:

The Failure Analysis Technical Lead is responsible for analyzing and investigating failures reported by customers, focusing on their technical aspects. A key aspect of this role includes examining the system's technical details, identifying potential failures, conducting tests, and recommending improvements and repairs to enhance the system’s reliability and accuracy.

Main Responsibilities:

● Reproduce and validate faults reported by customers

● Conduct a methodical investigation to identify the root causes of the failure and think of possible solutions in collaboration with development teams

● Operate external laboratories when necessary and analyze reports received     

● Write failure analysis reports and present them to customers

Requirements

● BSc in engineering – Electronics, an advantage

● Analytical, organizational, process-oriented, attention to detail

● Experience in conducting failure analysis in a multidisciplinary product

● Familiarity with PCBA manufacturing processes and software/hardware interfaces

● Knowledge of Embedded Software – an advantage

● Systemic view and process understanding

● Excellent interpersonal communication skills

● Good verbal and written communication skills in both Hebrew and English

Rotem joined Arad Technologies in 2019 as VP of R&D. Prior to Arad Technologies, Rotem held a number of R&D senior management positions in High Tech companies in Israel and in Canada.

Rotem holds a BSc degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and MBA from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at the Technion University, Haifa.
